About the role

We have a terrific opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor working across Scotland and the North of England to come join and us in our Ground Engineering business. 

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the project Commercial Manager, you will manage a team of quantity surveyors and take responsibility for the management of all costs and
income relating to the project from commencement through to completion.


Day to day, you will look to minimise the costs of the project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. You will also lead on supply chain procurement and require a focus on building a strong client relationship. 

Who we're looking for

You will need the following: 



  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying;

  • CSCS Card (Academically Qualified/Professional Qualified Person);

  • MRCIS/MCInstCES/MCIOB (or working towards them);

  • A good track record leading and managing a commercial team; 

  • Major projects experience would be desirable.
