Iconic projects. A world-famous business. £million budgets. A worthwhile impact on society that’s great in both scope and scale.
There are so many reasons to join one of our two-year Graduate Schemes. But perhaps the most important for you right now, is the freedom you’ll have to control your career.
We’ll provide the opportunities. You’ll give us the benefit of your talent and potential, together with ideas and innovative spark that drives our future.
Realise your potential
Over the course of the scheme, you’ll join all the other graduates on core modules that’ll help you efficiently manage projects and hone your leadership style. And you’ll build on this strong foundation with specialist modules that focus on the unique technical skills for your discipline.
There’s far more to this than study, though. In fact, our 70 20 10 development structure means you’ll spend 70% of the time learning on-the-job, 20% learning from others; and 10% from those more formal courses.
We’ll also give you the chance to help shape specific business projects with senior managers, work with our Process Improvement Team to enhance performance, and take on challenges outside the business like the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, Armed Forces Covenants and volunteering.
Whichever route you choose, expect well-structured training, world-class colleagues, and hands-on experience.
Choose from Building/Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Design, Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services), Environmental, Health and Safety, Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or Planning.
Choose from Finance, General Business Management, Human Resources, Work Winning, Bid Management.
Your time on the scheme will see you gaining all kinds of specialist skills and eye-catching achievements. You’ll prove yourself across a range of projects, sectors and roles. And you’ll likely be on your way to a professional qualification.
As you’d expect as part of one of the world’s leading infrastructure groups, there’s an impressive package. A generous salary comes with 25 days’ holiday, a pension you can start paying into the moment you join and a potentially lucrative Share Incentive Plan.
There are also flexible benefits, like buying and selling holiday, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
