Icon Awards

On 25 September 2024, we celebrated our inaugural Icon Awards at the world-class V&A Museum in London. ‌Our Icon Awards brought together almost 400 colleagues from the UK, US and Hong Kong, alongside key customers and partners, to celebrate the very best of Balfour Beatty.

Together, we paint skylines, build incredible infrastructure, and shape communities. But just as important as what we deliver, is how we deliver; something that is driven by our culture, underpinned by our behaviours. 

Our Icon Awards featured 16 categories including each of our five behaviours – Talk Positively, Collaborate Relentlessly, Encourage Constantly, Make a Difference and  ​Value Everyone, and our core programmes such as Zero Harm and Right First Time which underpin our culture, to recognise individuals and teams who have excelled.
