At Balfour Beatty, we’re committed to creating an inclusive culture and diverse workforce not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes us a better business. We’ve been working to create such a culture for a while, but there’s more we can be doing as we continue on this journey – and we recognise this.
And so today, Balfour Beatty has become the first construction and infrastructure company to sign the Audeliss and Involve Open Letter committing to engaging and measuring long-term actions for black inclusion within our UK business.
In this short video, you can hear from Aaron Reid, Balfour Beatty Head of Sustainability and Steering Group Member of Balfour Beatty’s Fairness, Inclusion and Respect programme, about why we’ve signed this letter and what it means for us at Balfour Beatty – as well as the wider industry.
