What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage the roll out and management of the HR People Plan and
initiatives within SZC with a focus on recruitment and onboarding during the
initial stages of the Alliance
- Sponsor, lead, drive and ensure the delivery of complex business change
projects, ensuring alignment with the People Plan, and realisation of the Alliance
objectives
- Develop and propose adaptations of HR activity particularly in relation to
recruitment and onboarding
- Apply subject matter expertise to the development of policy, process, or
approach, reflecting external best practice and ensuring that they add value to
the business using learning from experience from Hinkley Point C
- Consider the deployment of HR processes to meet the requirements of the
Alliance to ensure these are fully implemented and deliver the intended benefit
to the Alliance
- Support the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours
across the business to enable managers and employees to achieve business
objectives in support of the Alliances Purpose and Principles
- Compile, present and disseminate business information to line managers, based
on effective HR administration services
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience working in a similar fast paced HR role
- Previous experience working in an Alliance environment
- Previous experience in HR Change projects
- Ability to collaborate across the business at all levels and promote inclusivity
- Experience of working within an Alliance environment
- The role requires in-depth of knowledge in a range of HR functional areas and
a deep understanding of the techniques and approaches associated with HR
activity
- The ability to contribute to development of HR policy and processes for the
Alliance
- You will be accountable for the delivery of large and complex change projects
which will require strong project management skills and stakeholder
engagement skills
- You will be a strong communicator who is able to influence others, interact
with senior stakeholders and effectively challenge at all levels
- The role leads HR project work which could include: Organisation Design,
Organisation Development, Resource Planning, Performance and Reward,
Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, etc
