Our A1/M1 Scheme 4 CSB team has a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to continue delivering the central reservation concrete barrier upgrade works. The team have successfully delivered schemes 1, 2 and 3 on time, within budget, with a happy customer, that has enabled us to secure the latest phase.


We provide high quality asset strategy, management and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We provide specialist, reliable, sustainable and creative advice for asset management planning and implementation in the UK. We put our customers first and prioritise completing schemes safely, efficiently and to a high standard.


This role would be site based in our compound near Garforth, Leeds.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll collaborate with senior commercial team members to support the delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient solutions, including:


 



  • Administering supply chain agreements.

  • Managing costs effectively while ensuring the highest standards and quality.

  • Preparing accurate measurements, estimates, and cost reconciliations.

  • Measure & interpret works information, specifications & drawings

  • Reviewing project programs and understanding delays/disruptions.

  • Using ERP systems to track and collate cost and value data.

  • Supporting stakeholder and customer management

Who we're looking for


  • Has a good knowledge of and adheres to the Company’s governance requirements (BMS & GMCEs)

  • Proven experience in the measurement and valuation of civil engineering work, with a track record of sub contract package management.

  • Experience in NEC 3 contract administration.

  • A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.

  • Membership or progress towards membership of RICS, ICES, or a similar professional body
