3 Trainee Site Surveyor roles in Guildford

What you'll be doing

As a Trainee Site Surveyor, you will be tasked with supporting the Survey Project Manager in delivery of survey requirements for Balfour Beatty projects, including:

• To complete the defined training course/program with line manager support and mentorship.


• Maintain own learning records to ensure achievement of personal development activities and delivery of business requirements.


• Assist with the storing and distribution of data.


• Assist in the control and maintenance of all survey equipment in line with the company’s procedures.


• Proactively support the Survey Team to implement processes/culture/technology.


• Learn and demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours.

Who we're looking for

• Previous work experience in engineering surveying.


• Capable of taking ownership of allocated tasks and communicating outcomes.


• An awareness of AutoCAD and survey software.


• Adaptable approach to work. Prepared to work as part of team & train with other staff.


• Proficiency in IT and numeracy.


• Ability to form effective relationships with the project team, supply chain partners and clients.


• Ability with computer systems and windows applications


• Proficient in Maths and English (minimum GCSC grade A/6 or above, A level preferred)


• Full UK Driving licence
