What you'll be doing
As a Senior Planner with our growing business, you’ll be:
- Responsible at tender stage to the Planning Lead or Bid Manager for the range of activities involved in the project planning life cycle
- Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance.
- Identifying planning scope, major constraints and contract requirements
- Identifying major quantities and factors affecting the programme
- Establishing and agreeing with Operations construction outputs and agree working hours with appropriate Estimator
- Establishing and agreeing with Operations and Bid Team key methods of construction, sequencing, installation and commissioning.
Who we're looking for
You will need the following:
- Have significant experience of planning services – ideally within construction
- Know how to use planning techniques and planning toolsets
- Understand tender documents, contracts and specifications
- Understand various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring
- Want to work with people – we’re about teamwork, not siloes
- Develop relationships, trust and confidence to get every team to do what’s needed
- Be unflappable as situations change, plans evolve and decisions need making.
