About the Role
Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team for the A9 Dualling project from Tomatin to Moy. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and Foremen.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, with a focus on Zero Harm.
- Oversee engineering control, resource allocation, and training needs.
- Drive quality assurance through site audits and process improvements.
- Manage productivity, cost control, and subcontractor performance.
- Support risk management, programme delivery, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial obligations.
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in a Site Agent role, preferably on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- SMSTS qualified, holding a valid CSCS Card and a full UK driving licence.
- Competent in engineering principles, contract management (NEC forms), and cost forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and IT skills.
