Building pathways into construction
The Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation helps residents pursue further education through scholarships and grants that support access to post-secondary study.
A key part of this work is Swing 4 Scholarships, the Foundation’s annual fundraising event, which brings together sponsors and participants to raise funds in support of educational access.
In June 2025, the event raised more than US$600,000, with funds directed towards scholarships for Balfour Beatty Communities’ residents actively pursuing post-secondary education.
Since launching in 2008, the Foundation has awarded nearly US$2 million in scholarships and community outreach initiatives, helping residents build skills, confidence and pathways into future careers.
By investing in education, we are helping residents achieve their ambitions while strengthening the communities we serve.
