Balfour Beatty has been featured in Project Scotland highlighting how the recently completed Fife College Dunfermline Learning Campus, Scotland’s first net-zero higher education building, is set to inspire the next generation of students.

The piece explores how the Campus, which includes technical training facilities is pushing the boundaries of sustainable design, offering students a real-world example of how the construction and infrastructure industry is evolving and demonstrating how low-carbon materials, digital construction tools and off-site manufacturing are shaping the future of the built environment.

Reflecting on the significance of the project, Stewart MacPhail, Project Director at Balfour Beatty, said: “Younger people want to make a positive difference. This campus shows what’s possible when you design with sustainability in mind and it will hopefully inspire the next generation to take things even further.”
