2 Digital Engineering Technician roles in Grays

What you'll be doing

• Produce and maintain 3D models and associated digital outputs following
  project standards.


• Provide support for model coordination, clash detection and design reviews.


• Assist in implementation of the Project Digital Engineering / Digital Execution
  Plan (BEP/DEP).


• Contribute to the setup, use and maintenance of the CDE.


• Support project teams and supply chain partners in the use of Digital
  Engineering tools and workflows.


• Carry out basic model/data validation and quality checks.


• Assist in the preparation of 3D model visualisations, reports and digital
  deliverables.


• Provide inputs to training/briefing materials for internal stakeholders

Who we're looking for

• Works well within a team


• Appreciation of ISO 19650


• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Basic working knowledge (not just appreciation) of:
  o Digital tools & workflows
  o CDE environments
  o Survey collection methods
  o Coordination processes (3D/IDC/IDR)
  o Project information model development
  o 4D (appreciation level)
  o 5D (appreciation level)
  o Common coding
  o Progressive Assurance
  o BIM Framework standards


• Can do tasks with minimal supervision
