About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join our team, supporting the delivery of a significant local highways and infrastructure project in the Wokingham area.


this role would suit someone who is confident using Primavera P6 and enjoys working collaboratively with the site and project teams across a range of civil engineering activities.


You'll play an important part in helping the project team plan, manage and track the programme of works , ensuring activities are well sequenced and progress is clearly understood.

What you'll be doing

You'll be:



  • Preparing and updating project programmes using Primavera P6

  • Monitoring progress on site and working with the team to reflect this in the programme

  • Highlighting key activities, risks and potential impacts to the programme

  • Supporting programme reviews, updates and reporting

  • Working closely with construction, commercial and engineering teams to keep the programme aligned with how the works are being delivered

Who we're looking for

 


We're looking for someone with planning experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects, who is comfortable in working in a live project environment.


You will have:



  • Experience in a Planner or Senior Planner role on civil engineering or infrastructure schemes

  • A good working knowledge of Primavera P6

  • An understanding of construction sequencing and site operations

  • A collaborative, practical approach and good communication skills

  • Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance


Experience on highways projects or knowledge of NEC contracts would be beneficial but not essential
