The construction of the Waterside Bridge in Nottingham marks a historic moment for the city – its first new river crossing in more than 65 years. As part of this landmark project, the 87-metre, 161-tonne bridge was lifted into place over the River Trent, connecting the Trent Basin area and Lady Bay to bring together the communities in Nottingham and Rushcliffe. Delivered on behalf of Nottingham City Council through the SCAPE Civil Engineering Framework, the bridge will improve sustainable travel for pedestrians and cyclists and help shape a greener, more connected future for the city.

Balfour Beatty, in joint venture with Clark/Sullivan, celebrates the completion and grand opening of the new Cesar Chavez Elementary School for Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD). The newly constructed campus replaces both Edward Kemble Elementary and Cesar Chavez Intermediate School, uniting them into a single, modern learning environment. As the district's largest campus to date, the school serves as a vibrant new home for 850 TK–6 students.
