Balfour Beatty's Social Impact Manager, Lisa Scargill, has featured in the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) discussing her Hensman Prize win and how her career and commitment to social value are intrinsically connected.
Lisa made history last month by being the first-ever recipient of the prestigious Hensman Prize for her outstanding contributions to grow and strengthen the Cumbrian community.
Discussing the win, Lisa Scargill, said: “Through both the course and my role, I am really connected to what Cumbria is, what it looks like, and what it means to live and work in the area. I have been able to share my journey and make a difference in the local community, which has been recognised through my degree programme."
