The Opportunity
As activity on the project develops, we're now looking to strengthen our construction delivery capability with experienced mechanical and piping Construction Managers.
We're particularly keen to hear from people with a strong track record of managing the safe and effective delivery of significant mechanical, piping or process packages on major construction and engineering projects.
Your experience could have been gained within:
- Major mechanical and process piping projects
- Power generation and energy
- Petrochemical and process industries
- Oil & gas
- CCUS and emerging energy infrastructure
- Major EPC / EPCM programmes
- Other complex, highly regulated engineering environments
Relevant technical experience could include mechanical plant and equipment, process pipework, high and low-pressure piping systems, balance of plant, turbines, boilers or HRSG, testing and commissioning. These areas align closely with Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick's established mechanical delivery capability.
Who we're looking for
We're keen to speak with experienced delivery leaders who can demonstrate:
- Strong construction management experience within mechanical, piping or process engineering
- Experience managing significant mechanical or piping work packages in a major-project environment
- A strong, visible commitment to health, safety and quality
- The ability to coordinate multiple work fronts, trades, subcontractors and interfaces
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, planning and site readiness
- Experience working effectively across engineering, construction, supply chain and commissioning teams
- Confidence working with clients, delivery partners and subcontractors
- The ability to lead site teams and maintain focus on safe, right-first-time delivery
- Experience identifying and resolving construction constraints before they impact delivery
