What you'll be doing
- Create and implement temporary electrical building services design solutions
- Ensure integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety and sustainability of design and engineering to enable compliant defect free handover
- Coordination with Principle designer and Principle Contractor ensuring regular flow of information to comply with requirements of CDM
- Providing design solutions for distribution, lighting, sockets, plant and equipment supplies along with fire alarm & detection systems
- Support Design Managers with design/construction reviews and sign off
Who we're looking for
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have experience working on large-scale electrical engineering construction projects such as power generation, water treatment, energy infrastructure, or nuclear decommissioning.
- Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent training and suitable experience
- Relevant Professional accreditation is highly advantageous
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
- Experience and knowledge of Electrical Safe Systems of Work
- Ability to promote innovation and continuous improvement in design
- Detailed knowledge of codes of practice, in particular designer duties and responsibilities under CDM and other regulatory requirements
