What you'll be doing
- Lead the maintenance team to ensure all work is completed safely, on time and correctly.
- Support all site facilities including security and repairs/maintenance to building and site.
- Introduce and manage a PPM regime to cover all plant, equipment and facilities.
- Source and manage external contractors for Plant, equipment and facilities maintenance.
- Point of contact for BB IT.
- Establish, monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality and delivery of maintenance activity.
- Leading and facilitating a continuous improvement culture within the maintenance team.
- Monitor and manage equipment inventory (spares).
- Manage maintenance spend.
- Keep maintenance logs covering all activity.
- Ensure that the maintenance team for comply with all policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental.
- Improving key performance indicators for Environmental, Health & Safety, Productivity, Quality, Scrap and Housekeeping.
- Undertake any other duties as required by the Production Foreman.
Who we're looking for
- Experience of working collaboratively within a team environment and meeting key manufacturing deadlines.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Possess current and relevant knowledge of process manufacturing best practice.
- To take personal responsibility & accountability for actions, constantly striving to improve and exceed expectations ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.
- Able to read drawings and understand and complete documentation relating to processes within the work place.
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and can maintain and safe and clean working environment
