Vital repairs at Tyn-y-bryn footbridge in Wales

We have been appointed by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, via the SCAPE Civil Engineering framework, to carry out vital repair works on and around the Tyn-y-bryn footbridge in Wales.

Our scope of work includes realigning the river channel, replacing Tyn-y-bryn footbridge, and repairing the embankments along River Ely which have suffered significant erosion due to Storm Dennis. To help control the flow of water, we're constructing small weirs to help control the flow of water and to provide areas for fish to rest while they are migrating up the river. We will also deliver associated works to the footpath and street lighting.
