Consult Australia's 2013 Awards for Excellence 
The Origin Alliance team, of which our company Parsons Brinckerhoff is a part, won Gold Awards for Collaboration, Development of People and Client Focus, and were also Highly Commended for Technological Innovation. Parsons Brinkerhoff was also recognised with the Large Firm of the Year Award.

Three Hong Kong Green Awards 
Our joint venture Gammon won ‘The Green Purchaswi$e Award – Gold’, ‘Green Management Award (Corporate) – Silver’ and ‘Corporate Green Governance Award - Corporate Leadership’.

Construction Week Awards 2013
Dutco Balfour Beatty won two awards including ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year’ for our Sustainability Month initiative.


Building Better Healthcare Award for Innovative Alternative Use of Energy 
Fife Acute Facility won this award as recognition of the utilisation of alternative forms of power to reduce energy use.

Opportunity Now and Race for Opportunity Benchmarks 
Recognition of our on-going progress in creating a more diverse and inclusive business for our staff, customers, partners and the communities we serve.

Singapore Sustainable Business Award 
The award recognises our joint venture company Gammon’s outstanding sustainable business practices and innovative green technology solutions.

Five Green Apple awards
Balfour Beatty won five Green Apple awards, including ‘Gold Award: International Green Champions’ for Dutco Balfour Beatty, three Silver awards and a Bronze award.


Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Award for best internal communications campaign 
This prestigious communications award from the CIPR was for a recent internal communications campaign that used a green frog mascot called 'Sustainability Sam'. 

CDP FTSE 350 Climate Change Report 2013
Balfour Beatty achieved the second highest score against its construction industry peers and increased its score - 87-B.


The Red Flag Group Best Supplier Code of Conduct 
Of over 500 companies, Balfour Beatty had the best supplier code of conduct. The code is structured around four main values: integrity, teamwork, excellence and respect.

CIPS 2013 Supply Chain Management Award for Best Contribution for Sustainability
The Supply Chain School, of which Balfour Beatty is a partner, is declared overall winner for its common approach to addressing sustainability within the construction industry's supply chain.


Yan Oi Tong Recycling Partnering Scheme's Grand Caring Award
Gammon is cited as the construction champion.


2013 Congress for New Urbanism Charter Award
Balfour Beatty receives recognition for its work on the design of Toronto's Evergreen Brick Works in the United States. 


Considerate Constructors Scheme 2012 Awards
Balfour Beatty wins three gold, one silver and two bronze awards. Gammon receives a silver award, and two merits from the Development Bureau and Construction Industry Council.

Construction Industry 2012 Hong Kong Gold and Bronze Awards for Environmental Excellence
Gammon wins the award for the redevelopment of the Victoria Park swimming pool and the widening of Tolo Highway / Fanling Highway project.


The Commercial Real Estate Development Association's Green Award of the Year
Halsall Associates has for five years been involved in Cadillac Fairview's Sustainability 360º programme, the implementation of which at the Toronto-Dominion Centre in the United States won the Green Award.


CEEQUAL's Outstanding Achievement in Project Management and Land Use Award
Skanska Balfour Beatty Construction Joint Venture wins for the M25 Widening J16 - 23 and J27 - 30 projects and Hatfield Tunnel refurbishment.

CEEQUAL's Highly Commended in Project Management Award
Balfour Beatty wins for its improvement work on the A46 Newark to Widmerpool project.

CEEQUAL's Highly Commended in Ecology and Biodiversity Award
Balfour Beatty Jones Brothers Joint Venture wins for its improvements work on A487 Porthmadog Minffordd and Tremadog Bypass.
