Working collaboratively with project partners from the earliest stages, we draw on our experience from successfully delivering resilient projects that meet the needs of our customers and local communities. Our expertise covers a wide range of solutions, from cliff stabilisation, to implementing flood alleviation measures and habitat schemes. We also specialise in bolstering properties against floods, tailoring unique solutions including flood doors, pumps and valves to meet specific needs.

Our role as the civil contractor partner for the Thames Estuary Asset Management (TEAM) 2100 Pathfinder Integrated Delivery contract, along with our involvement in the UK's only Public Private Partnership coastal project at Pevensey, has equipped us with valuable asset management expertise. This knowledge guides our design and material choices, allowing us to deliver programmes of work that offer exceptional value.

In times of crisis, our emergency response teams spring into action, offering rapid and effective solutions.  We are known for our innovative problem-solving, such as deploying the Mobile Unit Lifting Equipment (MULE) at Sandsend, near Whitby and going to extraordinary lengths to save properties affected by flooding.  

Sustainability is always a priority, and we strive to leave a positive legacy in the communities we serve. This includes using low carbon concrete, sustainable timber and environmentally friendly rock for groyne improvements.

We play a key role in providing Internal Drainage Boards with innovative solutions to flood and land drainage issues that help to sustain economies, enable industry and farmers to produce the goods and food we need and keep transport networks connected.

Refurbishing and constructing pumping stations and improving drainage systems, our team of experts sustainably design, build and maintain flood risk management and land drainage solutions that improve assets whilst reducing flood risk to people and property.

We have extensive experience of collaborating with local communities and environmental organisations to obtain approvals and consents to ensure we protect and enhance local communities. This approach was recognised with a Green Apple award on a project we recently completed in Norfolk.

We are working closely with teams from a range of Internal Drainage Board consortia across the East and South of England to assess the residual life of drainage assets, develop business cases for funding and determine sustainable solutions to support and maintain land drainage capabilities.

We take a comprehensive approach to managing networks that are vital for communities. From clean and wastewater mains to treatment facilities and other critical infrastructure, we handle every aspect of the lifecycle. Collaborating closely with our trusted supply chain partners, we employ cutting-edge techniques and leverage the power of digital tools to streamline our projects, saving both time and costs.

We can also provide reactive and planned maintenance and upgrades on non-infrastructure assets through frameworks, such as our award-winning partnership with Anglian Water, @one Alliance.
