What you'll be doing
As an IT Project Manager will have the following responsibilities,
- Within a small to medium scale projects, co-ordinates the projects’ workstreams, on a day-to-day basis, to ensure maximum efficiency in the allocation of common resources and skills.
- Ability to engage and influence peers in I.T. and Business. Manages 3rd party Supplier resources and engagements on the Project.
- Ensures that the appropriate environment is developed to support project managers, including the processes and practices for managing projects utilising best practice.
- Ensures that there is efficient allocation of common resources and skills within the project portfolio.
- Implements systems, processes, and measures to ensure that exceptions, slippage and issues of priority are effectively managed, and that extra activities are initiated wherever gaps in the programme are identified.
- An understanding of assigned business functional domain including business operating model, activities, data, process, and information requirements
- Monitors overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverable are produced on time, within budget and to acceptable quality.
- Manages both the dependencies and the interfaces between there projects and other deliveries.
- Manages the communications with all stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
Do you have?
- Degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent).
- Relevant professional Accreditation e.g. ITIL, Prince 2 Practitioner, APMP etc…
- Can achieve security clearance (BPSS or higher).
