What you'll be doing
As a Site Area Quality Lead, you will have the following responsibilities,
- Support the development of quality (QA/QC) arrangements for deployment across the MEH Alliance.
- Ensure the implementation of quality (QA/QC) arrangements.
- Act as single point of contact for quality function in assigned area / scope of work.
- Support the compilation and review of End of Erection Status reports and
associated records.
- Manage installation surveillance / inspection activities in assigned area / scope of work.
- Management of Non-Conformances in assigned area / scope of work.
- Undertake actions to resolve issues relating to the implementation of quality and to bring about improvements, and support others in these actions.
- Monitor implementation and effectiveness of quality activities.
- Produce quality partitioning strategy for assigned area / scope of work.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans in assigned area / scope of work.
- Report on quality status in assigned area / scope of work.
Who we're looking for
- A recognised qualification in a relevant science or engineering subject, or equivalent qualification in a mechanical, electrical, or Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) discipline.
- Broad experience of implementing a variety of quality related solutions on large projects.
- Proven track record of delivering results to tight timescales and evolving scope.
- Leadership experience working in a QA / QC environment within the nuclear industry or other highly regulated industry.
- Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment and multi discipline team Previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working within a Construction role.
- Ability to gain a security clearance.
