What you'll be doing
Assisting the Depot Plant Fitters with repair and maintenance activities on Piling Rigs and associated equipment in preparation for deployment to projects throughout the UK. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills and knowledge in the role with a view on progression to a Qualified Plant Fitter.
- Proactively manage the workload effectively and efficiently
- Maintain focus on achieving tasks from start to finish
- Demonstrate positive attitude and behaviours towards safety and others
- Take ownership for career development
- Ensure tasks are completely safely and in line with procedural steps and risk assessment
- Willingness to learn from others and proactively listen
- Maintain punctuality and attendance
Who we're looking for
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work alone and as part of team
- Good communication skills
- Interest in Mechanical Plant repair and maintenance
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with heavy plat and equipment
- Slinger/Signaller CPCS Card
- Multi-skilled - Traffic Marshall, Manual Handling etc.
- Forklift Truck Licence - Counterbalance/Telehandler
- Mobile Elevated work platform (MEWP)
