About the role

Would you like to join a world-leading construction and infrastructure business? This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and become part of our success. We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Project Controls Manager to join our Rail team to work on the Sizewell C Project.

What you'll be doing


  • Develop and implement standard project scheduling processes and procedures ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create realistic and achievable project plans.

  • Monitor and analyse project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.

  • Identify and communicate cost trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost savings.

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework for projects.

  • Facilitate risk management procedures and processes to regularly update risk registers and communicate risk status to relevant stakeholders.

  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and success.

  • Provide insight into performance trends and variations from planned outcomes.

  • Develop and implement change control processes to manage project scope changes effectively.

  • Assess the impact of changes on project timelines, costs, and resources.

  • Generate and distribute regular project control reports to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and potential risks to project teams and leadership.

Who we are looking for


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

  • Previous experience as a Project Controls Manager in a major multi-discipline engineering environment.

  • Understanding of NEC3 contracts.

  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead, train and mentor people at all levels.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Advanced user of Primavera and Power-B

  • Proven experience in continuous improvement and process optimisatiom
