What you'll be doing
- Develop and deliver engineered solutions, effectively briefing working parties.
- Ensure activities are delivered to program, cost, and quality standards in a safe and sustainable way.
- Accurately monitor and record project progress, maintaining comprehensive records and daily diaries.
- Lead and develop a thriving project environment, promoting safety and collaboration within the team.
- Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for both in-house and subcontractor activities.
- Manage health and safety protocols, providing improvement solutions where needed.
- Work with Project Management to conduct risk/opportunity reviews, manage the Risk Register, and implement necessary changes.
- Drive continuous improvement through workshops and development of operational milestones.
- Plan resource allocation, requisition materials and equipment, and ensure compliance with project objectives and KPIs.
- Support Project Management and step in as a deputy when required.
Who we're looking for
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferable, or relevant site experience within the Utilities/Construction Industry.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage people effectively, and resolve complex issues.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of budgetary and financial controls.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to work away from home as needed.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and health and safety regulations.
