What you'll be doing
Working on high-profile projects across sectors such as Highways, Flood Defence and Pumping Stations, you’ll get to:
- Take pride in seeing your projects shape the nation’s landscape
- Work with customers, design consultants, engineers, construction teams, and other experts to shape designs that our clients want and our society needs
- Join at the very beginning to make sure every design is fit for purpose and buildable
- Minimise risk and maximise impact by considering every design from every angle
- Recommend the best way forward on highly complex proposed builds by visualising how designs will look and work during and after construction
- Make big calls on how best to manage the design and build – from influencing who works on it and testing their competency, to coordinating teams as things progress
- Harness the power of digital more than ever before (we can support with training)
- Develop well-rounded skills and a fascinating career across our growing business.

- The vision to look towards how a build concept could eventually operate in reality
- An appreciation of construction, engineering and materials – although we welcome other backgrounds and offer training and mentoring on the technical aspects
