Our Multi Utilities team are a New division within Balfour Beatty Power T&D offering a turnkey multi-utility offering to service the wider BB Group. Excellent reputation across all of the main asset types with an ever, growing order book. Positive diverse culture who are the only Tier-1 to be offering the full package.


What development opportunities are available?


Endless opportunities for development and growth, turnover due to triple in the next 3 years with our orderbook alignment. due to double in the next 3 years with future Infrastructure Developments planned.


The Location of this role is predominately west midlands Birmingham  area at present but can be nationwide

What you'll be doing

As a Project Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities:



  • Formalise and specify a delivery solution, briefs out the solution to the working party and ensures it is followed and completed.

  • Develop and deliver the engineered solution and brief to the working party.

  • Safely and sustainably deliver activity to programme, cost and quality.

  • Monitor and record works to ensure compliance in a timely manner.

  • Support and develop an environment where the working party can thrive and succeed.

  • Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:


Essential:



  • Strong People Management and relationship management skills.

  • Experience of Construction Site environments

  • Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control

  • Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to tease out sensitive issues and lead cross- functional teams towards solutions.

  • Available to work across our projects based in South East./M25 area


Desirable:



  • Experience of carrying out the delivery of Utilities schemes

  • Knowledge and experience of Project Management methodology such as APM

  • Degree Qualified in Electrical/Engineering Discipline
