What you'll be doing
As a Cost Administrator you'll:
- Accurate costing and control of project expenditure, reflected in the timely production of monthly project cost reports
- Process payroll transactions and assist with resolution of payroll queries
- Material receipts / GRN Processing
- Logging and resolving Purchase order issues
- On hiring and off hiring of plant in the system
- Reviewing unreceipted Plant orders and liaising with site teams
- Ensuring that all transactions are posted in a timely manner
- Regular reconciliation of plant to ensure accuracy against supplier data
- Managing and recording of invoice queries
- Ensure that site support processes are consistently and rigorously applied across all projects in line with company policies.
Who we're looking for
You'll have/be:
- The ability to work with people at various levels both internally within Balfour Beatty and externally and apply and comply with the Balfour Beatty site support procedures.
- This is a position of responsibility involving receipting, invoice processing, payroll and project costing.
- Previous experience of Oracle (or equivalent ERP cost management module) and construction/engineering working rule agreements would be an advantage
