Under our business graduate programme you will be assigned a mentor and invited to attend Group graduate-based events, which will provide you with an opportunity to network with your peers and share best practice. As a Balfour Beatty graduate you will follow a structured development programme that will equip you with the skills needed to become a business leader of the future.
Upon completion of a business graduate programme you can expect to be working in a range of business and management roles such as: General Management, Marketing Executive, HR Advisor, Finance Analyst, IT Consultant.
Most of our development schemes lead to professional qualifications, such as CIM, CIPD, CIMA, BIFM, ACCA, CIPS.
Our ‘Principles of Project Management’ training is aligned to the professional standards of the Association of Project Managers, so you can achieve a qualification which is recognised internationally.
You will receive a competitive salary dependent upon your specific graduate role and an array of benefits.
Benefits vary across our businesses but generally include a pension scheme, participation in our flexible benefits programme (so you can choose the package that is right for you), the ability to join the Share Incentive Plan (SIP) and up to 25 days holiday per year. You may receive a travel allowance or company car and some areas of the business also help towards professional institution fees.
The scheme will last for two to three years but further training will follow and achievement of professional membership is encouraged.
Entry qualifications required:
You will need a 2:1 degree or above in a business related subject to apply. You will usually need to pass aptitude tests depending on the scheme. Full details will be stated in the job advert.
