Balfour Beatty India provides a range of lifecycle infrastructure services and investment solutions for its clients and partners.

Balfour Beatty is now established in India to provide a range of additional services and solutions for clients and partners in addition to the highly successful professional services already provided by the 220 strong Parsons Brinckerhoff team in India.

Initial targets for Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) type contracts will be the rail and power sectors but with a near term focus on infrastructure investments under Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) arrangements.

Future markets identified include social infrastructure (Healthcare and Education) and refurbishment/fit-out of buildings.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed with Tata Projects, the engineering and construction arm of the highly respected Tata Group to identify joint opportunities in India. Balfour Beatty India and Tata Projects have also agreed to jointly pursue opportunities in sub-Sahara Africa, particularly in the mining infrastructure sector.
