What are our recruitment deadlines?

Individual job adverts detail the specific application closing dates for each role.

Will I be able to apply for more than one business area?

You can only submit one application at a time as commitment to your chosen role is important. 

If I have been rejected, can I apply again?

You will need to wait four months before applying again.

I don't have the required qualifications, is it worth me still applying?

Unfortunately if you don’t meet the entry requirements your application will not be considered. If you feel that you have extenuating circumstances then please let us know. Please view our other vacancies as there may be other opportunities available to you.

Do you only accept applications from young people?

Our schemes are open to people of all ages, but they are specifically designed for people starting out in their career.

How flexible about location do I have to be?

We are an infrastructure company, with many projects across the UK. From the day you start working with us, you will need to be flexible regarding your location to make the most of the opportunities available to you.

We appreciate our apprentices need to attend college on day release, so we take this into consideration when recruiting. 

However, we prefer our graduates to be fully mobile within the UK due to the fast-changing needs and opportunities within our business. Certain roles also require that our graduates to have a full UK driving licence

How do I apply?

All applications must be made via our website. We are unable to accept applications made by any other means.

How long does the application process take?

We will aim to get back to you as soon as we can. You can always log into your account to track the progress of your application.

Is it possible to get samples of the psychometric test questions?

If you are invited to sit our online tests then you will be sent a link to a practice test to complete in advance of your official tests. 

I have a disability; will you make reasonable adjustment to accommodate my disability?

Will I receive feedback on my application?

Due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide feedback to all candidates at application stage. However, if you attend one of our assessment centres, we will give you detailed feedback on your performance, even if you are unsuccessful. Feedback on any psychometric tests taken will also be provided.

When can I start?

The anticipated start date of a role will be stated on the job advert. 

Can I defer my offer?

We will consider deferring job offers on an individual basis; however, we ideally want you to start working with us on the agreed start date.

Can I come in to shadow for a day before I start?

There may be opportunities for you to come and meet us before you join but this would be dependent on the office or business unit. Your local recruiter will be able to provide further details.
