Programme Information:

If you’ve taken an extended break from your professional career of more than two years and are looking for a route back into employment, then the Balfour Beatty Returners Programme could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Our current Returners Programme will start in April 2017. The paid programme will run for 21 weeks, with a view to successful candidates joining the business in permanent roles.

Opportunities are UK wide and Balfour Beatty has project sites in locations including: London, Cumbria, Kent, East Midlands, Manchester, Midlands, Gloucester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

You should be available for the duration of the programme and able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. While the role will be based at a corporate office or fixed project location, you should be flexible on travel for coaching and workshops.

In commercial roles:

  • Quantity surveyor
  • Commercial manager

In enabling functions:

  • Human Resources
  • IT
  • Health and safety
  • Finance
  • Legal
