Non-Executive Director at Balfour Beatty

Balfour Beatty, the international engineering, construction and services group, announces today the appointment of Mr Robert Walvis as a non-executive Director of Balfour Beatty plc.

Mr Walvis, 54, has recently retired from the Shell Group after a distinguished 30-year career, most recently as Chairman of the Corporate Centre of the Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies.
