Balfour Beatty analyst event
30 Oct 2007Balfour Beatty plc, the international engineering, construction, services and investment group, announces that it is hosting an analyst event in the US during the period Monday 29th to Wednesday 31st October.
The purpose of this event is to provide analysts with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with and enhance their understanding of Balfour Beatty’s recently acquired building construction business in the US, Balfour Beatty Construction Group Inc (BBCGI) (formerly Centex Construction), including its core business model and the key drivers of its long-term growth. Visits will be made to BBCGI projects in Orlando, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; and Washington DC.
Presentations will be made by a number of senior Balfour Beatty managers on the Group’s enlarged US constituency, strategy for its US operations and on BBCGI overall and its constituent divisions. These will appear on the company’s website, www.balfourbeatty.com, as soon as possible after the conclusion of the event.
No new material information will be disclosed, nor will there be any statement on current trading.
