New Managing Director for Balfour Beatty facilities management arm, Haden Building Management

Balfour Beatty, the international engineering, construction and services group announces today, the appointment of Kevin Craven as Managing Director of its facilities management arm, Haden Building Management Limited (HBML).

Craven, who will take up his new position in November, joins from Aramark, the leading support services and facilities management group where he is currently Managing Director of its Support Services Division, responsible for the Education, Healthcare, Custodial and Defence sectors of the business.

Commenting on the appointment today, Balfour Beatty Chief Executive Ian Tyler said: “We are delighted that Kevin Craven is joining us to run HBML. This business is in an exciting growth phase, having recently won a number of major new long-term contracts, and aims to be a leader in the provision of a range of support services to major customers across the UK. Kevin has the ideal profile and experience to take the business forward in its next phase of development.”

Kevin Craven has been with Aramark for five years, the last four as Managing Director, Specialist Markets. Prior to his time at Aramark, he gained experience in a wide range of market sectors in the support services field, both in the UK and internationally. He was educated in South Africa and has a wife and two children.

Haden Building Management is a major UK asset and facilities management business with current annual revenues of approximately £250 million. Its customers, under longterm framework contracts include the Royal Mail, BT, the Department for Work and Pensions and a number of the Balfour Beatty group’s PFI hospitals and schools schemes. Other customers include the BBC, BAA, Tesco and Land Securities.
