Refurbishment

Contracts range from long-term frameworks with local authorities to 'one-off' traditionally tendered projects. These include residential improvements for social housing and internal refurbishment of commercial and retail premises.
Balfour Beatty Construction's refurbishment division, Balfour Beatty Refurbishment, was established over 15 years ago. It specialises in the renovation and refurbishment of buildings within Greater London and the South East of England.
Mansell provides refurbishment services for social housing, heritage and commercial customers, among others. Previous projects have included the British Museum, work under the Decent Homes scheme, plus refurbishment and fit-out of armed forces accommodation.
Typical responsibilities for Balfour Beatty Engineering Services include design and installation of full mechanical, electrical and security and data systems. Experience ranges from Grade 1 listed buildings to commercial offices.
Balfour Beatty Engineering Services has been involved in a number of modernisation programmes, such as the Courts and Tribunals Modernisation Programme (CTMP). It has also performed extensive refurbishment works in the retail sector, for customers such as Marks & Spencer and John Lewis.
