Overview
Gammon is the market-leading construction contractor in Hong Kong, where it has been headquartered for 50 years. The company also operates in China, Macao and Singapore. It is jointly owned by Balfour Beatty and Jardine Matheson, an Asian-based conglomerate.
It operates in a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, hotel, community and industrial developments, plus roads, bridges, railways, tunnels, water, waste water and solid waste treatment.
With an annual turnover of around US$1 billion, Gammon employs some 2,000 full-time staff.
Gammon has broad experience across a range of engineering disciplines, covering buildings, civil engineering, foundation works, electrical and mechanical works, refurbishment and other construction services. The business participates in design, managing the construction process, and the construction process itself, as well as subsequent maintenance and ultimate demolition and renewal.
